I often help my mom cook on Sundays, and we tried these out yesterday. They are delicious, packed with ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) and there is no baking involved! They took a little more than an hour to make from start to finish. If you try them out, let me know if you like them!
Directions and ingredients are in the video:
One thing I would change next time is the amount of sweetness added. I thought mine were a little too sweet, so next time I’d add less maple syrup and chocolate chips. Another thing I may do is roll smaller bites (I think mine were larger than 1″) to make them last longer and have fewer calories per snack.
You will need:
-1 cup oats
-1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
-1/2 cup ground flaxseed meal
-1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (or vegan chocolate chips)
-1/3 to 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
-1 teaspoon vanilla
