It was like a dream come true. I couldn’t believe it was a real thing when I found it online while planning our Japan trip. You could actually dress up as a character from Mario Kart, and go-kart around Tokyo.
I was a bit nervous at first, having never drove a go-kart in the streets of a foreign country (but hey, who has!). That said, following my dad’s since-childhood-ingrained rules of “safety first” combined with the seemingly organized streets of Tokyo, it was an amazing experience.
And yes, YOSHI obviously did come in first place – did you even doubt it for a second?!
